Buju Banton has returned to the United States after nearly 15 years.

With palpable excitement, DJ Khaled warmly introduced his “brother” to fans worldwide, heralding Banton’s arrival as a momentous occasion.

The Reggae icon, whose real name is Mark Myrie, exuded gratitude and enthusiasm during the live broadcast, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support of his fans.


Banton’s return to American soil signals a new chapter for the celebrated artist, who has overcome formidable challenges since his incarceration and subsequent release in December 2018 from the McRae Correctional Facility in Georgia.
