Reggae Boyz Squad Announced for Friendly Series in Trinidad

Reggae Boyz training in Austria

Jayden Hibbert has earned a spot in the 23-member Reggae Boyz squad, which departed the island on Wednesday bound for Trinidad.

The team is set to participate in a two-game friendly international series this weekend.

Handpicked by head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson, Hibbert is among the trio of goalkeepers selected for the matches slated at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium today (2pm) and the Larry Gomes Stadium on Sunday.

Hibbert, plying his trade for Atlanta United in the American Major League Soccer, stands out as the sole overseas-based player named in the squad.

The lineup also welcomes fresh faces in Arnett Gardens’ forward, Kaheim Dixon, and midfielder Shamour Smith from Montego Bay United, both receiving their maiden senior call-ups.

The squad comprises:

Goalkeepers: Kemar Foster, Shaquan Davis, and Jayden Hibbert.

Defenders: Kyle Ming, Richard King, Gather Stewart, Ricardo Thomas, Sue-lae McCalla, Stephen Young, Joel Cunningham, and Emelio Rousseau.

Midfielders: Alex Marshall, Shamour Smith, Jahshaun Anglin, Romeo Guthrie, and Jamone Shepherd.

Forwards: Kaheim Dixon, Fabian Reid, Shaniel Thomas, Jason Wright, Justin Dunn, Andre Fletcher, and Devante Campbell.
