Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz Triumph Over Trinidad’s Soca Warriors in Friendly Series Opener

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz claimed victory in the first leg of their friendly series against Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors, securing a 1-0 win at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

Kaheim Dixon emerged as the hero with his 58th-minute strike, marking his debut with a goal and echoing the achievement of Justin McMaster in 2022.

The match, played behind closed doors, served as a platform for both teams to unveil new talent, with Jamaica fielding an impressive 13 debutants.

Assistant coach Merron Gordon expressed satisfaction with their performance, emphasising the importance of transitioning young players from schoolboy football to the international stage.
