Lembikisa, who had yet to score for the Reggae Boyz, etched his name into the annals of Jamaican football history with a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box in the 41st minute.
His shot, arcing gracefully into the top left corner of the net, left spectators in awe and catapulted Jamaica into the lead just before halftime.

Despite facing pressure from Panama, the Boyz demonstrated exceptional defensive discipline and tactical cohesion throughout the match.
Panama, determined to find an equaliser, launched a relentless offensive in the second half.
However, the Boyz stood firm, thwarting numerous attempts and maintaining their one-goal advantage.
The tension reached its peak in the dying moments of the game when Panama’s Abdiel Ayarza hit a desperate shot narrowly missing the target in the 93rd minute.
For Dexter Lembikisa, his maiden goal for the Reggae Boyz not only helped Jamaica to secure silverware in the CONCACAF Nations League but also solidified his status as a rising star in the region.
