Demarai Gray – The Only Jamaican to make Nations League A Best XI for October!

Jamaica’s Demarai Gray is the only Reggae Boy named in October’s Concacaf Nations League A best XI.

Goalkeeper:
Yannis Clementia (Martinique) showcased his skills with back-to-back clean sheets, making six saves and three clearances in two stellar performances for Les Matinino.

Defenders:
– Leo Abena (Suriname) played a pivotal role at both ends, scoring in a 4-0 victory against Grenada and contributing five steals and six clearances.

  

– Jonathan Rivierez (Martinique) helped his team maintain a clean sheet, registering a remarkable 14 clearances and four steals.

– Denil Maldonado (Honduras) not only scored an early goal to set the tone for Honduras but also added a steal and two clearances while completing an impressive 94 percent of his passes.
– Alvin Jones (Trinidad and Tobago) was excellent for the Soca Warriors, tallying another goal and making seven clearances.

Midfielders:
– Adalberto Carrasquilla (Panama) displayed his class by opening the scoring in a 3-0 win against Guatemala and completing 87 percent of his passes during the window.

– Reon Moore (Trinidad and Tobago) covered every inch of the field, scoring two goals and maintaining a 91 percent pass completion rate.

– Luis Palma (Honduras) kept the pressure on defenders with a team-leading 11 shots and provided an assist in a decisive 4-0 win against Cuba.

Forwards:

Demarai Gray (Jamaica) showcased his class with a goal in each of Jamaica’s two victories, taking five shots and maintaining an 89 percent pass completion rate. Gray scored against Haiti and Grenada.

  

– Edgar Barcenas (Panama) led the charge for Panama, delivering the opening goal in their 2-1 victory over Curacao, in addition to an assist and three steals.

– Rangelo Janga (Curacao) was sensational, contributing three of his team’s six goals, including a brace in a thrilling 5-3 win over Trinidad and Tobago while completing 100 percent of his passes.
