Chelsea Midfielder Among Group Of Four Newcomers Invited To The Reggae Boyz Squad For Trinidad & Tobago Friendly
Reggae Boyz coach Heimir Hallgrimson has added four new players, including Chelsea midfielder Omari Hutchinson, to the squad for the upcoming two-match international friendly series against Trinidad and Tobago.
The first match is set to take place at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in Catherine Hall on Saturday, while the second game will be played at the National Stadium on Tuesday.
Apart from Hutchinson, the coach has also called up Dante Casanova of Tottenham, Delano Mccoy-Splatt from Fulham, and Tyler Roberts and Dexter Lambikisa from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The squad of 25 players mostly comprises local-based players, including Dujon ‘whisper’ Richards, a standout player from Kingston College and Phoenix Academy, who is likely to make his national senior team debut.
Other notable players included in the squad are Trivante Stewart and Colin Anderson, who are joint-leading scorers in the Jamaica Premier League, as well as Ravel Morrison, Adrian Mariappa, and Jahmali Waite.
The squad will assemble and travel to Montego Bay on Wednesday ahead of the first match on Saturday.
