Reggae Girl Khadija Shaw Scores Hat Trick For Manchester City!

Bunny Shaw – The Hat-Trick Hero!

Reggae Girl Khadija “Bunny” Shaw was in a joyous mood on Sunday after scoring a hat-trick to help her club – Manchester City defeat Sheffield United.

Her first goal came when she got past her marker to sweep Chloe Kelly’s cut-back into an empty goal.

For her second, Shaw again got the better of her marker to calmly slot the ball into the bottom corner from distance shortly after-half-time.

And to put the icing on the cake, she scored again just before full-time to claim the match ball.

Shaw’s tally of goals in all competitions for this season now stands at 16.

She expressed her delight following the game saying:

“It’s good you know when you can help the team. For the position I play, the team look to me so it’s good to get the hat-trick today,” Bunny expressed.

“It’s just about sticking with it and staying consistent and being lively around the box.

“Sometimes the play can get scruffy so I think it’s just about being alive around the box. I think that’s been really the difference and being consistent.

“I’m pretty confident. Like I said, when you score goals you build momentum and you build confidence so I think it’s just about sticking at it and doing what I can do.

“We did some good things [against Sheffield United]. We’ve been working on the training pitch on some things we want to improve on and today we’ve definitely done that and there’s always room for improvement.

“Every game we get better so it’s good.”
