Reggae Boy Leon Bailey Scores To Help Aston Villa Hold Man City To 1-1 Draw
Bailey Scores!
Reggae Boy Leon Bailey found the back of the net in the 74th minute to salvage a 1-1 draw for Aston Villa against defending champions Manchester City in the English Premier League earlier today (September 3).
Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 50th minute.
Haaland volleyed in a cross courtesy of Kevin de Bruyne but later missed two chances to score a second before Villa struck back.
Bailey met a low cross from Jacob Ramsey and hammered a first-time shot high into the net to help Villa earn a valuable point.
For City, this is a second draw to go with four wins in the opening six games.
City are currently in second place with Tottenham on the Premier League table.
Leaders Arsenal have a chance to go four points clear on Sunday if they can get the better of Manchester United.
