Rivals But Friends

Okay, finally it’s over.

Our athletes delivered some major treats and again distinguished our beautiful flag….TO THE WORLD!

We are still on a high note but soon it will be time to come down from the euphoria and it will be business as usual.

That will also consist of those that failed going back to the drawing board to dissect the many reasons they failed to deliver on the promise they previously showed, while those who triumphed will be seeking to assure themselves of a continuance to winning streaks. We won major, but we also failed major, just like the USA did, despite the uneducated rants of supporters on both sides to the contrary.

Don’t kill the USA athletes, coaches and fans guys. We are strong competitors because we are both super and formidable forces for all comers to deal with but we are not enemies. It’s all about perseverance and hard work, which we both put in.

We love to win and to exult but we must also remember to be gracious in victory and when competition is done, to give a pat on the back, a kind word of encouragement and go back to living as brothers, or sisters as the case may be. Remember how such an act would have helped you in the agony of defeat.

I lift my hat to the USA coaches and athletes who, in seeking to excel, continually drive our athletes on to greater levels of achievement.

One love. Your time will come again.

Right now, it’s all about little but tallawah Jamaica.

Of course, there are some with diarrhea of their mouths producing much methane from their rancid comments. Let us not react by producing the spark they are waiting on to ignite. They make it hard, but ignore all that effluence. Don’t expend too much energy trying to clean up after they spill their bowels. We have greater fish to fry.

There is a World Cup coming up that we have to also stamp our authority on and the rest of the world will be gunning for us. They will have learned some lessons after going back to the drawing board.

Let us concentrate on keeping ours encouraged, while others lick their wounds and prepare to attempt to knock us from our perch. Seems it’s always going to be the black, green and gold against the red, white and blue, our nemesis. We both crave and strive for victory and we are both worthy competitors. It serves us well to remember that.

Congrats Jamaica!

Well tried USA…

Moving on.
