Wakanda Forever! Black Panther Sequel To Be Released Next Year

The most recent movie trailer from Marvel studios has revealed that the sequel to the hugely successful Black Panther movie will be released next year. 

Black Panther, released in 2018 is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

The film was hugely successful in Jamaica and across the world. Chadwick Boseman, the star of the film sadly passed away last year following a battle with colon cancer leading to widespread speculation that there would not be a sequel.

The first film grossed $700.1 million in the United States and Canada, and $646.9 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $1.347 billion.

  

It became the highest-grossing solo superhero film, the third-highest-grossing film of the MCU and superhero film overall,the ninth-highest-grossing film of all time, and the highest-grossing film by a black director.

Marvel’s three minute long trailer called Marvel Studios Celebrates the Movies” reveals the scheduled release dates for several movies.

According to the trailer, the new Black Panther movie will be called Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and is scheduled for a July 8, 2022, release date.
