Three More COVID-19 Deaths Locally

Three new COVID-19 related deaths and 91 new cases were recorded across the island on Friday, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The deceased include a 73-year-old female, and an 81-year-old male, who both hailed from Manchester, and a 75-year-old male from Westmoreland.

Jamaica’s death toll from the coronavirus now stands at 119.

The total number cases on record for the island has increased to 6,795. Recoveries have increased by 233, bringing total recoveries to 2,345.

  

There are 4,239 active cases.

Forty-three moderately ill patients and 15 critically ill patients are among the 4,239 active cases now under observation in Jamaica.
