Six More COVID-19 Deaths Recorded Locally
According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness six more COVID-19 related deaths and 74 new cases were recorded across the island on Tuesday.
Among the deceased are a 59-year-old female from St Catherine, a 77-year-old male from St Elizabeth, a 59-year-old male from Kingston and St Andrew and a 70-year-old male who was also from Kingston and St Andrew.
Two of the deaths recorded Tuesday were previously classified as being under investigation – that of a 52-year-old-male and a 54-year-old female, both from St Catherine.
The death of a 28-year-old with COVID-19 has also been classified as coincidental.
Jamaica’s COVID-19 tally now stands at 107.
The 74 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases bring the total number cases on record for the island to 6,482.
Recoveries increased by 97, bringing total recoveries to 1,867.
