Jamaican Lottery Winner Wears Darth Vader Costume To Collect His Winnings
A Jamaican lottery winner recently donned an immaculate Darth Vader costume to claim his $95-million prize.
The figure currently equates to roughly $866,000 in Canadian dollars, or US$646,000.
The winner who identified himself as W. Brown said the following while speaking with the Jamaica Gleaner.
“I come from a poor family. Sometimes I couldn’t attend school because my parents didn’t have (money), but I told myself that God will help me one day so I can help my family.”
He didn’t hit the jackpot overnight as he revealed that he had been purchasing the same set of numbers with a variations over the past two decades.
Brown added:
“I wrote down the numbers and saw that I won! I was excited. I then had a shower and went to sleep.”
