Richie Stephens Halts Asia Plans Amid Coronavirus Fears
Reggae signer and producer Richie Stephens has put the brakes on preparations for his scheduled events in Asia amid fears stemming from the new coronavirus.
The World Health Organization recently declared this novel coronavirus a global emergency.
Stephens, while speaking with Irie FM recently said that no amount of money is worth putting yourself in harm’s way.
As of February 1, 2020, the official death toll for the newly identified coronavirus has surpassed 300.
The virus has now claimed its first victim outside of China, a 44-year-old Chinese man in the Philippines.
The number of people who have so far been sickened by the virus is estimated to be approximately 15,000 globally.
