Mandatory Prayer Hour Implemented At All Schools In Grenada

Grenada’s Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development, Religious Affairs and Information recently announced the commencement of an Hour of Prayer activity at schools across the nation.

The Hour of Prayer Activity commences today (Jan 6, 2020).

Via a press release, the Ministry said the theme for the activity is ‘Teach Me to Pray and to Understand the Power of Prayer’.

All schools in Grenada are expected to engage in prayer between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:00 am.

The Ministry also revealed that a Minister of Religion, or suitably designated person has been assigned to lead the activity in each school.

As part of the activity, prayers will be offered up for all members of the school’s community and the nation, as a whole.
