Reggae Boy Included In USL Championship Team Of The Year First Eleven

Junior Flemmings has been included in the USL championship team of the year first eleven.

Flemmings currently plies his trade for Phoenix Rising FC  and completed the season with a combined 22  goals and assists.

His tally includes four goals from outside the penalty area, tied for third in the league, and a 22.1 shot conversion rate. His efforts during his 2,000+ minutes of action this season played a big role in helping his team top the Western conference.

Jamaican international Kenardo Forbes was named in the USL championship team of the year second eleven.

  

Forbes who plays in the midfield for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds is regarded as one of the best playmakers in the league. This season he led the championship with 21 big chances created among his nine assists and 74 chances created overall.

His defensive positioning was also a big plus for his team as he led the championship’s outfield players with 291 recoveries.

Additionally, he is as one of only seven players to complete at least 1,500 passes in the regular season.
