Fame FM DJ Venom Perishes In Motor Vehicle Collision

Well known Fame 95 radio personality, Raymond Peart, more popularly known by the moniker DJ Venom has died.

He was one of two persons who perished in a crash on the Spanish Town bypass in St Catherine on Monday night.

A female student of the University of Technology who has been identified as 21-year-old Abigail Rowe also lost her life  in the tragic accident.

Police say that at approximately 10:00 pm Peart was driving his motorcycle along the Spanish Town Bypass heading towards Old Harbour.

  

Upon reaching the vicinity of March Pen Road a collision reportedly occurred with Rowe, who was a pedestrian.

Both sustained injuries and were subsequently taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The official Twitter account for TVJ’s morning programme Smile Jamaica posted the following tweets on Tuesday morning:
