Caribbean Airlines To Launch Flights From Jamaica To Cuba

Commencing December 13, 2019, Caribbean Airlines will begin offering service between Kingston, Jamaica and Havana, Cuba.

A few months ago, it was announced that the airline was awaiting the necessary approval from the various civil aviation authorities but that flights between the neighbouring countries would be realised some time this year. 

The flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesday and Friday.

This service will add 300 more seats into these markets and increase opportunities for trade and tourism.

  

Tourism in Cuba is an industry that generates over 4.7 million arrivals as of 2017, and is one of the main sources of revenue for the island.  The island boasts a favourable climate, beaches, colonial architecture and distinct cultural history, Cuba has long been an attractive destination for tourists.
