“I Think We Can” See Bolt At Old Trafford Next Season – José Mourinho

Jamaica’s eight-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt was in the company of some of the most recognisable figures in world football yesterday at the Hublot Match of Friendship 2018 in Basel, Switzerland.

The event, which marked watch-maker Hublot’s official countdown to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, saw two teams managed by Maradona and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho respectively facing off.

Bolt played for Team Mourinho, and came off the bench to score as the high-scoring encounter ended 11-11 draw.

Following the encounter, José Mourinho – manager of Premier League club Manchester United was asked if Bolt will be seen at Old Trafford next season.

He responded by saying:

“I think we can and I really think that this space for him is more difficult than the bigger space where he can show all his best qualities.”

And Bolt when asked about the experience said : “For me it was wonderful”.

“It was a fun time, I’m happy to be here. It’s not easy! It’s all about movement but it was fun, the start of something great so I’m looking forward to moving forward.”

The legendary sprinter will go on trial with Borussia Dortmund this month.
