Fae Ellington – The New Host Of TVJ’s Profile

As of April 1, 2018 – veteran broadcaster Fae Ellington will host TVJ’s Profile.

Ellington boasts over four decades of experience in media and replaces Ian Boyne, who died last December following  a brief illness.

And she appears confident that she will have a relatively seamless transition into her new role.

She was recently quoted by Loop Jamaica as saying:

“If the viewing public is accustomed to the work that I have been doing over the past 44 years then they should expect excellence, they should expect me to be choosing guests that will inspire, that will provoke thought that will entertain…”

“I see this as another chapter in the life of Profile. I make the comparison to theatre. It’s like you have an act or scene with some characters and then another scene with a new set of characters or a new character is introduced. That is how I view it.”

She will retire as a lecturer at CARIMAC after serving in that capacity for close to 30 years at the end of July.
