I-Octane Criticised After Removing Woman’s Wig
Popular dancehall/reggae artiste I-Octane is now on the receiving end of a substantial amount of criticism after a video showing him removing a woman’s wig during a live stage show performance went viral.
In the video, I-Octane is seen singing to the woman as he touches her hair.
After seemingly noticing that her hair shifted, he walks away, before quickly returning by the woman’s side.
He then encourages the woman to be natural before removing her wig leaving her uncombed hair exposed.
Several persons have since utilised social media to scold the entertainer for what many seemingly perceive as an act of disrespect.
The controversial act has led to many questioning why the entertainer humiliated the woman in public.
However, many persons are also defending the artiste.
The general sentiment being expressed by those who are defending his action appears to be that the entertainer removed the woman’s wig as a way to show that she is beautiful without it.
