Reggae Boy Wes Morgan Scores Crucial Goal Against Man United
English football club Leicester City are about to achieve one of the most incredible turnarounds in the history of football – and nobody saw it coming.
The team narrowly missed being relegated to the lower division (the Football League Championship) during the 2014-15 Premier League campaign.
As a result of their mediocre performance, the team was not really expected to fare much better in the following season.
However Leicester has defied the odds and currently sits comfortably atop the league with 77 points having played 36 games.
And Reggae Boy – Wes Morgan has played a pivotal role in the team’s incredible comeback.
Morgan has been a force to be reckoned with at the centre of Leicester’s rock-hard defence.
On Sunday, Morgan, who is also Leicester’s captain became a hero after scoring the crucial goal that earned his team a draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Manchester United Scored scored in the eight minute courtesy of a goal from Anthony Martial.
However nine minutes later Morgan leveled the score with a perfectly timed and placed header from a free kick.
Leicester currently needs two points from games against Chelsea and Everton to guarantee their first top flight title.
