Jamaica’s Beach Volleyball Team Reaches Final Round Of Olympic Qualification

Jamaica’s beach volleyball girls are on the verge of making a historic achievement.

The team is now in the final round of the Casova Beach Olympic Qualifications after earning a fourth place finish in the previous round in El-Salvador.

The team which consists of Sasha Lee Wallen, Alecia Malcolm, Kai wright and Danielle Perry fought valiantly to earn two well deserved victories over Trinidad and Tobago and St Lucia.

They won St Lucia 16-5 in a golden set before narrowly getting past Trinidad and Tobago 3-2.

  

The girls should be back on the island today. 

The final round round of the Beach Olympic Qualifiers is to be held in Acapulco, Mexico, next month.
