Yes Baby, You Can Blush: Chris Gayle Welcomes Newborn Daughter ‘Blush’
Last year the talented Jamaican batsman Chris Gayle stirred up worldwide controversy during a live TV interview.
While speaking with reporter Mel McLaughlin after a Big Bash League Game he stated:
‘I wanted to come and have an interview with you as well … That’s the reason why I’m here, just to see your eyes for the first time,’ Gayle told McLaughlin after getting out.
‘Hopefully we can win this game and have a drink after. Don’t blush baby.’
On Tuesday Gayle left Mumbai to return home to Jamaica to see his partner Natasha Berridge who was in an advanced stage of pregnancy.
The star cricketer later used Instagram to share the news of the arrival of his first child.
His post was captioned:
We would like to welcome the arrival of our beautiful daughter ‘Blush‘ to this world 2 hours ago, Thank God. #GoodHealth&Strength – The greatest gift and feelings anyone would want. Great experience witnesses every bit of it. ????. Have to give my blessings to Tasha, strong woman ?. #Amen
