Gunmen Apologise For Shooting Schoolgirl

On Wednesday a schoolgirl was shot and injured by gunmen during a daring gunfight between rival gangs in broad daylight in West Kingston.

The 15-year-old girl was traveling along Beeston Street when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Now the gunmen have reportedly apologised to the family of the girl who was injured.

According to Loop Jamaica, the teen’s family was asked for forgiveness by men involved in the shooting and also told that the girl was not their intended target.

  

Police have reportedly identified several suspects involved in the shooting that shattered the teen’s leg.

They have also confirmed that gunmen did indeed send an apology to their victim’s family.

There has been a significant increase in reports of violence in West Kingston in recent times.

More than five persons have been shot in the area in the last two months.
