Female Motorcycle Passenger Dies Following Collision

A female passenger on a motorcycle died after she sustained injuries in a motor vehicle collision in Hanover on Tuesday.

She has been identified as 20-year-old Emanie Queensborough of Top Hill, Bull Savannah, St. Elizabeth.

The Sandy Bay Police reports that the the motorcycle on which Queensborough was travelling collided into a white Toyota Corolla at about 3:15 p.m.

Both vehicles were travelling in an easterly direction from Sandy Bay to Hopewell.

Queensborough died on the spot while the driver of the motorcycle was admitted to hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla is reported to have received minor injuries and was treated and released.
