When Vybz Kartel aka the ‘World Boss’ collaborated with fellow dancehall entertainers Popcaan and Vanessa Bling on a song titled Clarks a few years ago, they helped drive the shoemaker’s net profits over the 100 million pound mark.
Clarks have for a very long time been a favourite choice of footwear for many Jamaicans.
Though the zeal to obtain a pair of Clarks has diminished greatly in Jamaica, many owners of the shoe, mainly young men, still go to great lengths to keep them looking pristine.
Because of this, it is somewhat understandable why many persons also go to great lengths to avoid stepping on or soiling one of these shoes.
