Jamaican Hotel Worker Freezes to Death in the United States

A Jamaican man employed at a hotel in the US state of Wyoming died last Saturday from hypothermia.

Hypothermia is the condition of having an abnormally low body temperature, usually one that is dangerously low.

According to eastidahonews.com, 30-year-old Aldane Mullings from Jamaica died from hypothermia due to exposure.

Law enforcement officers have ruled out homicide in his death, after an autopsy determined that his injuries were not consistent with severe trauma.

  

At least 1500 persons die from hypothermia in the United States annually.

According to The Washington Times the deceased was working at a hotel in Jackson, Wyoming on a J-1 visa.
