Two Jamaican Women May Participate in Miss World 2015

This year’s Miss World competition may very well feature two Jamaican women in the capacities of contestant and judge.

The 65th edition of the Miss World pageant is to be held on 19 December 2015 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China.

Jamaica’s Minister of Youth and Culture Lisa Hanna, who was crowned Miss World in 1993 has reportedly been approached by the Miss World Organisation to be a judge at the the prestigious pageant.

Sanneta Myrie, a 24-year-old medical doctor will represent Jamaica in the competition.

  

Three Jamaican women have won the title – namely: Carole Joan Crawford in the year 1963, Cindy Breakspeare in the year 1976, and Lisa Hanna.
