Happy Now

I’m happy and no one can stop me.

Where were you, when I needed a shoulder to rest on?

I was broken – my joy was terribly trod upon.

Where were you, when my heart was stricken?

Emotionally I was beaten.

Thank God I’m alive – fortunately.

I smiled through it – my tattered story.

Pieces broken – I’m gazing,

shattered memories – still praising.

Happy Now – Daron Chosen Smith

Betrayed like Jesus, for less than 30 pieces,

I was pushed to the ground – I fell like faeces.

But He picked me up – J.E.S.U.S.

He told me I had to be broken to be more outspoken.

A test to forgive, the result – a happier life to live.

It’s a new script given to be humble,

to watch my step, walk by faith and not stumble.

Again, He came through when everyone else was stuck.

An invisible cheque he wrote, for me to cash in – a big buck.

Emotionally I was beaten.

Where were you, when my heart was stricken?

I was broken – my joy was terribly trod upon.

Where were you, when I needed a shoulder to rest on?

It’s okay…

I’m happy now, and no one can stop me… pow!
