Jamaica Plunges in FIFA Rankings Following 3-0 Defeat to South Korea

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz now occupy spot number 61 on the latest FIFA/Coca Cola World Rankings.

This most recent ranking sees the Reggae Boyz as the 5th best team in CONCACAF and the second best team in the Caribbean, trailing Trinidad and Tobago who jumped five spots to occupy number 54.

South Korea who comfortably defeated Jamaica by a margin of 3-0 last month are ranked number 48.

Mexico continues to be the highest ranked CONCACAF team  at no.24 while the United States and Costa Rica are 24th and 40th respectively.

  

Belgium for the first time in history occupy the number 1 spot after leaping two places to dethrone former leaders Argentina.

Argentina now sits in 3rd place while Germany occupies 2nd place.

1. Belgium 2. Germany 3. Argentina 4. Portugal 5. Chile 6. Spain 7. Colombia 8. Brazil 9. England 10. Austria
