American Athlete Seemingly Worried About Failing Drug Test After Trip to Jamaica
A popular American footballer may have drawn some unnecessary attention to himself after a recent trip to Jamaica.
Brandon Marshall, a player for the New York Jets in America’s National Football League (NFL) was in Jamaica over the weekend to attend his sister’s wedding.
Marshall made two posts on Twitter which seemed to suggest the he was fearful of failing a drug test on his return to the United States.
According to the footballer, Jamaica smells like Denver, the capital city of the state of Colorado, where smoking marijuana is legal.
He also asked the NFL for assistance.
Under the NFL substance abuse programme marijuana (Ganja) is prohibited.
