Bolt Extremely Disappointed By Latest 200m Performance

Usain Bolt has described his most recent 200 meter run as one of the worst of his career.

Bolt posted an unusually slow winning time of 20.29 seconds at the Adidas Grand Prix in New York on Saturday.

After aiming to run under 20 seconds for the first time this year Bolt ran what he described as a “horrible” curve and admitted he was so discouraged he eased up in the end. His time of 20.29 is well over a second slower than his world record time of 19.19.

“I don’t know what happened.” “I really can’t explain it. It was really bad. It was probably one of the worst turns I’ve ever had in my entire life,” Bolt said.

“I got out of the blocks and I just didn’t go anywhere, pretty much,”Bolt also added.

Seven years ago Bolt also set his first world record at this meet with a sizzling 100 meter victory.
