University Student Abducted in Kingston Rescued by Police in St Ann
The family of a university student who was abducted in Kingston this morning must now be elated after the student was found unharmed by police in the parish of St Ann.
According to Irie FM, police say, the mother of the student, parked her Honda CRV motor car outside the St Aloysius Primary School on Duke Street in Downtown, Kingston, and went to drop-off two other children.
The university student was aboard the vehicle which was still running.
Head of the Central Kingston police, Superintendent Michael Scott says that a man entered the vehicle and drove-off with the university student.
Police later intercepted the vehicle in Drax Hall, St Ann approximately 65 miles away.
The alleged kidnapper is in police custody.
