According to Loop News, the Police are expected to give a progress report on their investigation into an alleged plot to kill Opposition Leader Andrew Holness later today.
Jamaica Labour Party General Secretary, Horace Chang was also threatened.
Security was increased around the two men after it was revealed that $7 million was given to two hit-men to kill the two politicians after Holness announced a reshuffling of his shadow cabinet last Sunday.
Two members of the former shadow cabinet who were not named in the new slate of candidates are said to be peeved about their exclusion.
One of the two accused assassins is now in police custody.
Chang has not been available for comment but Holness told reporters on Sunday that Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller had expressed her concern about the alleged death threat.
