Jamaica’s Wesley Brown enters International Golf Rankings
Jamaica’s rising golf star, Wesley Brown, has now officially made it on the International Golf Rankings. He is listed as number 1548 in the rankings released yesterday. The world number one is Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy.
An elated Brown, who recently won his last two tournaments in Jamaica, said making the international rankings was a dream come true.
“I am elated and so happy. I have worked very hard and made a lot of sacrifices and now all the hard work is paying off,” Brown said in an interview following the release of the rankings.
Brown was full of praise for his sponsors, Sandals Resorts International, for their support, which has allowed him to participate on the international tour.
The golf star, who is currently on a break until January, said his plan is to steadily move up the rankings and is confident that next year will be an even more successful one.

Congrats and hope to hear more from Mr Brown.
Congratulations Mr Brown. As a golfer (no ranking – 15 handicap), I understand your passion. I love the game and at 70 years old, I love it even more than I did at 60 years old. At age 80, I am going to be awesome. 🙂
Congrats and wishing you all future success
