Jamaican born singer wows judges on The Voice Season 7 (Video)
Jamaicans may soon be rallying in support of another contestant on the popular reality television singing competition – The Voice.
This after Jamaican singer and songwriter Anita Antoinette received a roaring stamp of approval from all four judges tonight (September 29) during the blind auditions for the show’s seventh season.
Her impressive rendition of “Turn Your Lights Down Low” had the judges fighting for her.
Anita is the daughter of reggae icon Clinton Fearon and grew up in Kingston before migrating to the United States in 1996.
She previously entered the competition during its third season but was eliminated in the blind auditions.
Season five’s winner is Jamaica’s Tessanne Chin.

Well i was looking for her to choose Adam my favorite guy, but she makes her choice and we have to respect that. But in my honest opinion it doesn’t matter who she choose because if you are a winner you will always be a winner. A born singer doesn’t need much help from anyone to sing great, that person only needs help to be known to the world how to manage the stress that comes under pressure from fans and media. The Lord will do the training, he always perfect what he started in us. i am a singer and the only time i get disoriented is when someone trying to tell me how to sing. mt own pitch and style the sky is the limit for me.
