Advertisement starring Usain Bolt gets banned

Global superstar Usain Bolt has never been tested positive before, and his name has never been tranished in any drug story, he remains the face of track and field, and has maintained a clean sheet, however off the track a multimillion dollar advertisement featuring Jamaica’s global superstar has been banned.

According to reports complaints by British telecoms  and sky media resulted in the ban on Virgin Media’s advertisement featuring Bolt  taking on the roles of a ‘baby’, a boy, and what is being described as ‘mischievous’ Mrs. Bolt whose favourite track and field athlete is Britain’s Mo Farah as they use Virgin Media’s broadband service to complete their tasks.

The UK regulator ASA, stated that virgin media did not provide enough information on its website to support claims about its high-speed broadband.

It’s understood that this was the second Virgin Media ad featuring Bolt to be banned, after the regulator ruling in July 2012 that the cable firm could not deliver on its advertised high-speed broadband service.
