Fort Lauderdale hosts the International Reggae and World Music Awards

The annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), will be hosted in Florida on Saturday, May 4th, 2013 and this will be the fifth time in almost 3 decades that the event is hosted in Florida

Reports are that the IRAWMA which has annual worldwide view of more than twenty millions fans television and internet/social network, has been hosted in various cities such as Atlanta, New Orleans, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and New York.

Reportedly, every ten years IRAWMA goes to the Caribbean.

It is said that in the coming weeks the nomination ballots will be released world-wide for reggae and world music experts to contribute in the selection of the 2012 nominees for the most coveted 32nd IRAWMA Awards.
