64 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded Locally
Jamaica’s tally of COVID-19 cases has increased to 11,184.
According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, 64 new cases were recorded on Sunday.
The new cases are comprised of 27 males and 37 females and range in age from four to 81 years.
22 of the new cases were recorded in Kingston and St. Andrew followed by St. Catherine (10) and Westmoreland (10).
Jamaica’s COVID-19 death toll remains at 265.
No deaths were recorded on Sunday.
The Health Ministry says 80 patients are currently hospitalised with the respiratory illness.
Nine of them are critically ill.
