Coronavirus Cases Up To 529 Locally
Jamaica’s tally of COVID-19 cases has increased to 529 as nine new positive cases have been confirmed.
26 additional persons have also recovered from COVID-19 bringing the total number of recoveries to 171.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness gave the update at a press conference on Wednesday.
Of the new positive COVID-19 cases, six are from nationals recently repatriated.
Meanwhile, the 26 recoveries was the highest to date recorded in a 24-hour period.
The number of deaths remain at nine.
