Recording Artiste Falls Victim To Shocking New Method Of Car Theft? (VIDEO)
Recording artiste, songwriter and entrepreneur Ruffi came from humble beginnings.
He was born Westmoreland, Jamaica in the community of Haddo, and had a profound love for music from he was a child.
Growing up, Ruffi would oftentimes have to attend school without a decent pair of shoes or lunch money, but he always dreamed of turning his life around via music.
And over the years, the talented artiste continued to hone his musical skills until he eventually started to be recognised.
As an entertainer, he continues to be influenced by artistes such as Reggae Superstar Bounty Killer and scored a major hit last year with his single “Life”.
“Life” hit topped charts in Jamaica and the United States, and continues to be played on repeat by many.
The song has proven to be a favourite for many Jamaicans who either are experiencing or have overcome adversities to achieve the goals.
But despite being achieving success as a businessman and recording artiste, Ruffi still continues to face his hardships.
The entertainer’s car – a 2018 Infiniti Q50 was recently stolen in Florida while he was visiting Jamaica to shoot a music video. He is sharing his plight with the world with the hope that other persons who own vehicles with this technology will place a greater emphasis on vehicle security.
While speaking with The Jamaican Blogs™, Ruffi revealed his suspicion that the crook(s) who stole his sports car utilised sophisticated equipment to gain access to the vehicle.
Crafty thieves can use radio transmitters to trick vehicles that have the push button start feature into thinking they have the key. Simply put, criminals are able to pick up a signal from the original key and relay it to the vehicle they want to steal.
They are then able to simply unlock doors and start the engine. This kind of theft can be achieved in a matter of seconds!
In the video below thieves pick up a transmission from an owner’s key inside a house in the UK and relay it to a vehicle.
Coincidentally, in his music video Life – his handcart is also stolen.
