JFF Reveals Squad For Friendly Against Peru

On Thursday (June 13), Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will take on Peru in a friendly international as part of their preparation for the upcoming Caribbean Football Union (CFU) semifinals and CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Peru, based on FIFA’s most recent rankings is among the best teams in the world.

The South American nation is currently ranked 15,  just below England (14) and Wales (13).

Jamaica, ranked 79th, will also play French Guiana in the Caribbean Cup on June 22.

  

The Reggae Boyz will play alongside Mexico, El Salvador and Curacao in Group C at the Gold Cup which runs from July 7 to 26 in the United States.

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has released the names of the players who will represent Jamaica in the Peru game:
