Omar McLeod Honoured By the University of Arkansas

Jamaican Olympic gold medalist Omar McLeod was recently honoured by his alma mater, the University of Arkansas, for his incredible accomplishment at the Olympic Games in Rio last year.

With a time of 13.05 seconds, McLeod earned Jamaica its first gold medal at an Olympic games in the 110 meter hurdles.

In 2016, McLeod also became the first person in history to complete the 110 m hurdles in under 13 seconds and also break the 10-second barrier in the men’s 100m sprint.

McLeod shared some scenes of him being recognised via Instagram.
