Jamaican Leon Bailey Ranked 4th Best Winger in Europa League

An outstanding debut season in the Europa league by Jamaican teenage winger Leon Bailey has seen him being ranked by governing body UEFA as the 4th best winger in the tournament so far.

Bailey, who plies his trade for KRC Genk, has already found the back of the net four times in the group stage for the Belgian side who sit atop Group F with 9 points.

And the 19-year-old’s recent achievements saw him making the EUFA Europa League Team of the Week in consecutive weeks.

Bailey is also ranked number 5 on the Rising Stars of FIFA 17 Ultimate Team, and occupies the number 12 on the list of the best overall players in the Europa League.

  

The top three wingers according to the UEFA rankings are Giuliano (Zenit St. Petersburg), Diego Perotti (AS Roma) and Antonio Candreva (Inter Milan) with Roma striker Edin Dzeko holding top spot as the number one overall ranked player in the tournament.
