Buju Banton’s Daughter to Represent the Jamaica Labour Party
Jodian Myrie’s foray into politics
Jodian Myrie, the daughter of incarcerated dancehall/reggae artiste Buju Banton is currently representing the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) in the local government election scheduled to be contested this month.
She is a graduate of the University of Technology where she majored in marketing.
Jodian Myrie will represent the Hagley Park Division of the St Andrew East Central constituency, which is represented by Dr Peter Phillips of the People’s National Party (PNP).
The election date is November 28, with Nomination Day set for this Friday, November 11.
