PM Meets Entire Wolmer’s Girls Class That Earned Grade Ones in CSEC Maths
A Phenomenal Achievement!
A fourth form class at Wolmer’s Girls’ School recently sent tongues wagging across the island after the cohort of 33 students earned grade ones in CSEC Mathematics.
All students attained straight ‘A’ profiles following only one year of preparation.
Mathematics has, for a very long time proven to be one of the more difficult Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) subjects.
This year, only 44 per cent of overall entries achieved acceptable grades in Mathematics.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness, who was previously Jamaica’s Minister of Education recently sat with all 33 students.
