Powell Wins Again!
Jamaica’s Asafa Powell continued his winning ways yesterday (September 13) after comfortably crossing the finish line ahead of his competitors in the men’s 100m event at the DecaNation 2016 in Marseille, France.
The former world’s fastest man was chasing his 98th sub-10 clocking but failed to achieve the mark.
Powell clocked 10.20 seconds for the victory, ahead of Japan’s Yoshihide Kikyu who crossed the line in 10.35 seconds.
French sprinter Frenchman Mickael-meba Zeze was third with a time 10.53.
Powell was representing the area federation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (NACAC).
