Jamaican Living in the US Illegally Arrested With Fake Driver’s Licence

A Jamaican man illegally present in the United States was reportedly arrested by American Border Patrol agents on July 24.

According to US Customs and Border Protection, Adolph Boh Stewartson, a Jamaican citizen, presented a fake Jamaican driver’s license to agents and claimed that he had entered the U.S. on March 11, 2016, in New York City.

Stewartson could not, however, recall the name of the airport in New York City he had arrived at.

The subject also claimed he had a passport with a U.S. visa, but did not have it with him. Immigration records revealed no information on Stewartson, or a valid visa to be legally present in the U.S.

He has been detained at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility as he awaits a court appearance.
