Man Reportedly Threatens to Kill 12-Yr-Old Girl After She Refuses His Sexual Advances
A 21-year-old man remains behinds bars after he reportedly assaulted and threatened to kill a 12-year-old girl after she rejected his sexual advances.
The accused has his bail revoked when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court Friday.
According to Loop Jamaica, Parish Judge Maxine Ellis revoked Oshane Williams’ bail after the victim’s mother told the court that the accused pervert has interfered with the child even after his arrest.
“She’s afraid,” the mother said informing the court that Williams “kept troubling” her daughter who is still in primary school.
Even though Williams denied the allegation being levelled by the mother, that didn’t prevent Ellis revoking his bail until June 29.
As he was being handcuffed to be led out of court, Williams smiled, drawing a sharp rebuke from Ellis who told him, “You will see if it’s funny.”
Williams was arrested and charged recently after a report was made that he squeezed the child’s throat and slapped her in the face.
Asked by Ellis if he had assaulted the child as stated, Williams said he merely used two fingers to “slap her”.
According to the prosecution, the assault stemmed from the girl refusing Williams’ advances and telling her mother that he had been harassing her about entering into a relationship with him.
The prosecution said he approached the child on the day of the assault but she again refused his advances, at which point Williams grabbed her throat, slapped her in the face multiple times, pulled a knife and threatened to stab her.
Ellis chastised Williams who seemed unfazed.
The judge asked for a preliminary report into Williams’ background.
